FILMBASE Flying Display returns to Shenzhen Satellite TV: breaking world records, orders flying in from 104 countries
Recently, FILMBASE's core product, the “Flying Display,” once again appeared on Shenzhen Satellite TV's “Shenzhen News,” becoming a new media focus. Just this March, this “Flying Display,” with a transparency of up to 95% and a pixel count of 150,000 to 300,000, set a new Guinness World Record for the “world's largest LED mesh Flying Display” with an area of 72.66 square meters, leaving a significant mark in the field of low-altitude displays.
With its unique structural design, large screen size, and high-definition display quality, the “Flying Display” has seen steadily rising market demand since its debut. In the first half of this year, order volumes surged, with production schedules already booked through October. To meet demand, the company has leased an additional 3,000 square meters of factory space to expand production lines and hired dozens of new employees to join the production team. Currently, the total area of “Flying Display” currently in production exceeds 3,600 square meters, with pending production orders exceeding 5,000 square meters.
This growth has come not only from the domestic market, but also from the global stage. To date, Flying Display has exported to 104 countries and regions in the Middle East, Europe, and elsewhere, with overseas orders increasing fourfold year-on-year, covering countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as emerging markets in Africa and Europe.
Behind the scenes, FILMBASE continues to invest in technology and explore innovation. The company has made breakthroughs in display materials and drone suspension technology, adding practical features such as wind resistance and waterproofing to its products, enabling the “Flying Display” to operate stably in various scenarios such as rainy days and coastal areas.
FILMBASE's story is a microcosm of how Shenzhen-based companies leverage innovation and industrial collaboration to stand out in global competition. Looking ahead, the company will continue to focus on ultra-high-definition display and low-altitude economy sectors, driving technological upgrades and application expansions for the “Flying Screen,” so that more people can witness the technological prowess of Shenzhen.
