From group standards to national standards, FILMBASE shapes industry standards
In today's rapidly developing new display industry, standards are not only a “hard yardstick” for measuring technical strength, but also the “core language” for promoting high-quality development of the industry. FILMBASE, with its long-term accumulation of technical strength and continuous innovation in the field of new display materials, once again demonstrates its industry influence with its hard-core strength.

The company has actively participated in the development of the group standard “General Technical Specifications for Transparent LED Displays” (T/SLDA 015—2024), jointly released by the Shenzhen Lighting and Display Engineering Industry Association and the Shenzhen Bao'an District New Display Industry Technology Promotion Center. This standard provides unified technical specifications for the design, manufacturing, testing, and acceptance of transparent LED displays. promoting industrial chain collaboration and enhancing product quality. Subsequently, the company also participated in the formulation of the national standard “Printed Display Thin Film Uniformity Test Method” (GB/T 44390—2024) , which establishes a scientific, systematic, and reproducible testing method system for printed display films with thicknesses ranging from 5 nm to 1.5 μm. This standard covers two testing principles: the step profiler method (arbitration method) and the white light interferometer method, and provides standardized definitions and quantitative assessments for key indicators such as subpixel uniformity, adjacent subpixel uniformity, and short-range uniformity.

The establishment of this series of standards not only demonstrates FILMBASE's technological leadership and industry influence in the field of transparent display and printed display testing, but also marks the company's successful transition from a technology innovator to a shaper and promoter of industry standards. Over the years, FILMBASE has consistently prioritized independent innovation and breakthroughs in core technologies, maintaining an annual R&D investment of 40% of revenue. The company has established a comprehensive technical system spanning material research, precision manufacturing, and optical testing, accumulating over 150 core patents. The continuous participation in standards development, from group standards to national standards, not only solidifies FILMBASE's core position in China's new display industry but also lays a solid foundation for future international standardization efforts. FILMBASE will continue to drive innovation through science and technology, using standardization as a bridge to lead China's new display technology in establishing “Chinese standards” as a quality benchmark on the global stage, showcasing the industry's hard power to the world.
